SAFETY
The City's most basic duty is to ensure the safety of its citizens against dangerous and reckless offenders. But the line from City Hall as centered around just how difficult a task that is, rather than decisive action to honor their compact with the residents.
In November, Dallas voters chose to stop waiting on the City. They passed Proposition U. Against the protests of notable city leaders who opposed the measure, voters demanded action. I will see that the public's demands are met. From the day I am elected on May 3rd, I will work with the City, the Police Department, and the District directly to finally remove the scourge of fear and inaction and bring peace to our streets and neighborhoods.
This is Your Mandate. On May 3rd, vote Eugene Ralph for City Council to deliver it.
TRANSPARENCY
Too many consequential projects are driven by the City without proper notice, and too many residents are at a loss for how to be notified. The voters sent a message in the Charter vote, expressing their discomfort with the opaque nature of the City government, and have demanded the appointment of a permanent Inspector General. The people of Dallas have a good instinct in this matter and a primary focus in my time will be to improve communication with residents and close off opportunities for corruption or mismanagement.
This is Your Mandate. On May 3rd, vote Eugene Ralph for City Council to deliver it.
UNBRIDLED VISION
The dispossession of neighborhoods, families, and businesses who happen to live in the path of development has been too common in Dallas' history. The City has exhibited a habitual disregard of its residents in the pursuit of glistening new developments.
We will carve out a distinct visual and economic culture that is a testament to our people and an envy of others. Most importantly, it will never come at the expense of our own neighbors. Instead, we will release the unbridled vision that shines from the dreaming heart of every citizen who cries out to see Dallas made great.
This is Your Mandate. On May 3rd, vote Eugene Ralph for City Council to deliver it.
